Thotakura pulusuIngredients:

Totakura katta/spinach(Remove the roots,wash & cut into small
2 small brinjals(cut into 1″ pieces)
2 onions(cut into 1″ pieces)
4 okra(cut into 1″ pieces)

big lemon size tamarind(soak & make juice)

Paste:
1 tbls.mustard seeds
1 tbls.sesame seeds(white)
4 red chillies
1 ts. rice

Tampering:
1 tbls.oil
1 red chilli
1ts.mustard seeds
1/2 cumin
1/2 menthi
little hing
Dash of turmaric powder
salt for taste

Process:

grind the paste items adding some water and keep aside

cook all the vegetables for 10-12 minutes. Add tamarind juick,turmaric powder,and salt to it.Cook 2 more minutes. Add the paste. Let it boil. Then take it out.

Take a big ladle and put on a low flame. Pour 1 tbls.oil and fry all the tampering items. Mix into the soup dipping the ladle into the soup.
Note: Add 2 tbls.sugar if you like sweet(optional)
